000 — WEBSITES

Websites and web apps that load fast, rank and convert.

We design and build marketing sites, web apps and e-commerce for companies that need a site to do real work: rank, convert and pass an accessibility check. Built to Core Web Vitals and WCAG 2.2 AA, with an editable CMS. Fixed quote from €3,900; a typical marketing site ships in four to eight weeks.

001 — Sound familiar?

Your website is costing you more than its hosting bill.

  • The site looks fine on your laptop and crawls on a mid-range phone. Search Console is full of red Core Web Vitals.
  • Every copy change needs a developer, so the site is always three months out of date.
  • A cookie banner covers half the screen on first visit, and you are still not sure the analytics behind it are lawful.
  • You sell to consumers in the EU and have no idea whether the site meets the European Accessibility Act.
  • Leads from the contact form arrive in a shared inbox, sometimes, with no idea where they came from.
  • The previous agency built on a theme stack nobody wants to touch, and the login is in someone's personal email.

002 — What's included

What we build

A website is a product with a job. We start from that job — leads, sales, sign-ups, trust — and build backwards: content structure, performance budget, accessibility, then design and code.

  • Marketing sites

Company and product sites with a clear message, fast pages and a CMS your team can edit. Multilingual when you sell across borders, with proper hreflang and localised URLs.

  • Web apps

Dashboards, portals, booking and internal tools with real auth, roles and data. When the app needs a serious backend, we build that too — see backend systems.

  • E-commerce

Headless storefronts on Shopify or custom checkouts on Stripe. Product pages that load fast, a checkout that works with a keyboard, and payment flows that handle failure.

  • Core Web Vitals and performance

A performance budget set before design, images and fonts optimised by default, no render-blocking scripts. We measure on real devices, not just a fast office connection.

  • Accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA

The European Accessibility Act has applied since 28 June 2025, mostly to consumer-facing services like e-commerce, banking and transport; service micro-enterprises are exempt. Its benchmark is EN 301 549 (roughly WCAG 2.1 AA) — we build to the newer WCAG 2.2 AA either way.

  • SEO and AI-search readiness

Clean semantic HTML, structured data where it describes visible content, answer-first copy, sitemaps and fast pages. The same fundamentals Google, Bing and AI assistants read.

  • Analytics without cookie banners

Privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics and conversion tracking, plus lead attribution on every form submission. You see what works without asking visitors for consent you do not need.

Who we build websites for

  • B2B companies whose site has to generate qualified leads, not just look current.
  • E-commerce brands selling to EU consumers that need speed, a reliable checkout and EAA readiness.
  • SaaS and product companies that need a marketing site and a logged-in web app that feel like one product.
  • Teams replacing a slow theme-based site with something they own and can edit themselves.

003 — How it works

From brief to launch

  1. Discovery and content plan

Goals, audience, competitors and the pages that actually matter. We agree the sitemap, the conversion paths and a performance budget, and you get a fixed quote.

    Week 1

  2. Design you can click

Key pages designed as a clickable prototype, mobile first, with real copy instead of lorem ipsum. Accessibility is checked at design time, not patched later.

    Week 2–3

  3. Build and CMS

Components, pages, CMS models and integrations, shipped to a preview URL you can review every week. Content migration and redirects from the old site included.

    Week 3–6

  4. Launch checks

Core Web Vitals on real devices, WCAG 2.2 AA review, redirects, sitemaps, Search Console and Bing setup, analytics verified. Then we go live without drama.

    Week 6–8

  5. After launch

30 days of warranty on what we shipped, then optional care: updates, content help and performance monitoring.

  • Core Web Vitals in the green

Measured on a mid-range phone over a mobile connection, not just in a desktop lab run.

  • WCAG 2.2 AA

Keyboard navigation, visible focus, colour contrast, alt text, labelled forms and readable error messages — tested with a screen reader on key pages.

  • CI gates and preview deploys

Type checks, linting, tests and a build run on every pull request. Nothing merges red. Every branch gets a preview deploy you can click before it reaches production.

  • Tests on what earns money

Contact forms, sign-up and checkout are covered by end-to-end tests, so a dependency update cannot silently break your lead flow.

  • Security basics, done

Security headers, spam protection on forms, secrets in environment variables, CMS access by role.

  • Your repo and cloud from day one

Code lives in your GitHub organisation and runs in your cloud accounts from the first commit. Full IP transfers to you on payment. No hostage situations, ever.

007 — Questions buyers ask

Questions buyers ask

How much does a website cost?

Marketing sites start from €3,900. The final price depends on page count, languages, integrations and custom features, and it is fixed in writing before we start. Web apps and e-commerce are scoped in 2-week sprints from €4,900.

How long does it take?

A typical marketing site takes four to eight weeks from kickoff to launch. Most of the variance comes from content: if copy and assets are ready, we move faster. Web apps and stores are planned sprint by sprint, with something live to review every week.

Can my team edit the site without a developer?

Yes. We model the CMS around your real content — pages, case studies, products, team, jobs — so editors fill in fields instead of fighting a page builder. We run a short training session at handover.

Does the European Accessibility Act apply to us?

It applies since 28 June 2025, mostly to consumer-facing services like e-commerce, banking, transport, e-books and telecoms; service micro-enterprises are exempt. If you are in scope, we build to WCAG 2.2 AA and help you prepare the accessibility statement. If you are not, it is still the right thing to do — accessible sites convert better for everyone.

Do we really not need a cookie banner?

For analytics, often not: cookieless analytics do not store anything on the visitor's device. If you add marketing pixels or embeds that set cookies, you will need consent for those — we will tell you which ones, and help you decide whether they are worth the banner.

Who owns the site and the domain?

You do. The code is in your GitHub, the hosting and domain are in your accounts, and full IP transfers on payment. If you ever want to move on, you take everything with you.

How do we communicate during the project?

Directly with the engineer building your site, in English, Slovak or Czech, on CET working hours. You get a weekly preview link and a short written update, and replies within one business day.
