000 — AI APP RESCUE

Vibecode rescue: your AI-built app, taken from 80 to 100.

Vibecode rescue takes an app built with Lovable, Bolt, v0, Cursor or Replit from working demo to production. It is for founders and teams whose AI-built product is stuck at 80%. It starts with a fixed €690 audit delivered in 3 business days, then fixed-price 2-week sprints from €4,900, scoped in writing.

001 — Sound familiar?

The demo works. Production is another story.

  • Every new prompt fixes one thing and quietly breaks two others. You have stopped trusting the change log.
  • Auth "works", but you are not sure whether a logged-in user can read someone else's data by changing an ID in the URL.
  • Your Supabase tables have Row Level Security switched off, or policies you did not write and cannot explain.
  • API keys sit in client-side code or in a committed .env file, and you are not sure which ones are live.
  • Stripe runs in test mode, webhooks fire twice, and nobody knows what happens when a payment fails halfway.
  • There is no staging, no tests and no rollback. Deploying feels like a coin toss, so you deploy less and less.

002 — What's included

What a rescue covers

AI tools are very good at the happy path. The last 20% — the part that decides whether real users can trust the product — is where they struggle. AI-generated code introduced a security flaw in **45%** of tested coding tasks, and newer models were not more secure (Veracode, 2025). **66%** of developers name "almost right, but not quite" AI output as their top frustration (Stack Overflow Developer Survey, 2025). That gap is our job. A rescue can include:

  • Code ownership and architecture

We check whether the system has readable boundaries and sensible dependencies, and whether a human can change it without guessing. Where it does not, we draw the boundaries and move the code behind them.

  • Authentication and permissions

Sessions, account recovery, roles and every route that could bypass an access check. Client-side-only auth is one of the most common failures in vibe-coded apps (Wiz research), so we move enforcement to the server and the database.

  • Data, RLS and secrets

Missing Supabase Row Level Security exposed data in 170+ Lovable-built apps (CVE-2025-48757). We write and test RLS policies, validate input at the edge, rotate leaked keys and move secrets out of the client. See the Supabase RLS checklist.

  • Payments and integrations

Webhook signature checks, idempotency keys, retries, rate limits, and a defined behaviour for when Stripe, email or any third-party service fails mid-flow.

  • Tests and CI

Focused tests on the journeys that make or lose money — sign-up, login, checkout, the core action — plus automated gates that must pass before anything merges or deploys.

  • Deployment and environments

Separate development, staging and production. Repeatable releases, preview deploys per branch, database migrations under version control and a rollback you have actually tried.

  • Operations and handover

Error tracking, logs, uptime checks and dependency scanning, then a handover pack: what changed, what remains, and a prioritised backlog your team can continue without reverse-engineering our work.

Who rescues are for

  • Non-technical founders who built a working product with Lovable, Bolt, v0 or Replit and now have paying users, or are about to.
  • Product teams that used Cursor or another AI assistant to move fast and now need a second pair of senior eyes before launch.
  • Startups preparing for a funding round, an enterprise pilot or a security questionnaire they cannot answer yet.
  • Agencies and freelancers who inherited an AI-built codebase and need an honest verdict before quoting the client.
  • Anyone who has asked the AI to "fix the bug" ten times and watched the bug move instead.

003 — How it works

Audit → verdict → harden → ship

  1. Rescue Audit

We reproduce the current behaviour, then inspect the repository, runtime configuration, data model, dependencies and critical flows. Fixed fee of €690, and 100% of it is credited to the rescue if you continue.

    Day 1–3

  2. Written verdict

You get a prioritised risk map and a clear call: fix, partial rebuild or rebuild — area by area, with reasons and an order of work. No rewrite unless the audit proves it in writing.

    Day 3

  3. Harden in fixed sprints

With scope approved, we repair critical paths, tighten validation and access, remove fragile patterns and add tests where failure matters. Each 2-week sprint has a fixed price and a fixed scope. If we overrun our own estimate, that is on us.

    Week 1–2 per sprint

  4. Ship and hand over

We set up a repeatable release, monitoring and rollback, verify production checks with you, and hand over runbooks and a backlog. Your team — or ours, on a care plan — takes it from there.

004 — Pricing

Fixed prices, credited audit

You always know the next number before you commit to it. The audit is the only thing you buy blind — and it is credited in full if you continue.

  • Tests on critical paths

Sign-up, login, payments and the core action are covered by automated tests that run on every change.

  • CI gates and preview deploys

Type checks, linting, tests and a build run on every pull request. Nothing merges red. Every branch gets a preview deploy you can click before it reaches production.

  • Security review

Auth enforced on the server, RLS policies tested, secrets out of the client, dependencies scanned. Findings documented, not just fixed.

  • Observability

Errors reach a dashboard before they reach your inbox. Logs are structured and searchable. Uptime is checked from outside.

  • Accessibility where there is UI

Key flows checked against WCAG 2.2 AA: keyboard access, focus order, contrast, form labels and error messages.

  • Docs, ADRs and runbooks

Every non-obvious decision gets a short architecture decision record. Every operational task — deploy, rollback, restore, rotate a secret — gets a runbook someone else can follow at 3 a.m.

  • Your repo and cloud from day one

Code lives in your GitHub organisation and runs in your cloud accounts from the first commit. Full IP transfers to you on payment. No hostage situations, ever.

007 — Questions buyers ask

Questions buyers ask

How much does a vibecode rescue cost?

The Rescue Audit is a fixed €690, credited in full if you continue. Hardening runs in 2-week sprints from €4,900, each with a fixed scope and price agreed before it starts. Most of the total depends on the verdict, which is why we audit first instead of guessing.

Will you just tell me to rewrite everything?

No. We do not recommend a rewrite unless the audit proves, in writing, that repair costs more than replacement. Often the honest answer is mixed: keep the UI and most features, rebuild the data layer or auth. A rescue is not automatically cheaper than a rebuild — and if it is not, we say so before you spend anything on implementation.

What do you need from me to start the audit?

Read access to the repository, a list of the environment variables in use (not necessarily the values), access to the hosting and database dashboards, and 30 minutes to walk us through the critical flows. If you built in Lovable or Bolt, exporting to GitHub is step one — we can help with that.

Who owns the code and IP?

You do. Work happens in your GitHub organisation and your cloud accounts from day one, and full IP transfers to you on payment. We never host your product on accounts you cannot access.

Can I keep using Lovable, Bolt or Cursor afterwards?

Yes, and many teams do. We leave tests, CI gates and written conventions in place so AI-generated changes have to pass the same checks as ours. That is the difference between prompting into a void and prompting against a safety net.

What happens after launch?

Code we shipped carries a 30-day warranty: if something we built breaks, we fix it at no cost. After that you can take it in-house with the handover pack, or move to a care plan from €490 per month.

Do you sign an NDA and a DPA?

Yes. We sign a mutual NDA before we see your code, and a GDPR Article 28 data processing agreement whenever we touch personal data. We are EU-based and work in CET.

We have an in-house developer. Can you work with them?

Yes. We often pair with the existing developer, review their pull requests and leave them owning the result. The goal is a codebase your team can run without us, not a dependency on us.
