In plain words
Use the site and our free tools fairly. The Rescue Audit and the Website Scan are automated checks — useful, but not a professional audit, and AI can be wrong. The full scan report costs CZK 400 once, is paid through Polar and is delivered immediately, which is why the 14-day withdrawal period ends once you receive it. If the report can't be produced for technical reasons, you get your money back. Client projects run on their own written agreements.
Who we are
Backloo is a founder-led software studio based in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean the operator of backloo.com:
- Email: hello@backloo.com
What these terms cover
These terms apply when you use backloo.com, the free Rescue Audit at /audit and the Website Scan at /scan, including buying a full scan report. By using the site or buying a report, you agree to them. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Design and development projects, rescues and maintenance are not governed by these terms. They always run on a separate written quote or agreement, which takes precedence.
Using the site
You may browse the site and use its tools for lawful purposes. Please do not:
- run automated or mass scans, or try to get around the scan limits (currently 5 scans per day per connection);
- try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site, its forms or its backend;
- use the forms to send spam, malware or content that is unlawful or abusive;
- copy large parts of the site's text, design or code and present them as your own.
We may block requests or refuse service where we see abuse. The site's text, design and code belong to us or our licensors.
The Rescue Audit
The Rescue Audit is a free, automated questionnaire. Your score and recommendations are calculated from your own answers — we never see your code. It is triage, not a professional audit: treat it as a starting point for a conversation, not as an assessment of your software's security, quality or legal compliance.
The Website Scan
The Website Scan checks a public website you enter. The free scan shows an overall score and highlights. The paid full report adds every finding with evidence, a concrete fix for each issue and a written fix plan generated with AI from the scan results.
The scan is passive: it reads only what any visitor could see — public pages, response headers and standard files such as robots.txt — and asks Google PageSpeed Insights to test the address. It does not log in, submit forms or probe for vulnerabilities. You therefore do not need the site owner's permission to scan a site, but you must not use the scan to abuse anyone else's website (see Using the site).
Buying the full report
- Price. The price is shown on the report page and at checkout before you pay — currently CZK 400, a one-time payment, no subscription. Any VAT is calculated at checkout.
- Payment. Polar (Polar Software, Inc.) is our merchant of record: it sells the report on our behalf, processes your payment, handles VAT and issues your receipt, under Polar's Buyer Terms. These terms govern the report itself.
- Delivery. Once the payment is confirmed, the full report unlocks in your browser and we email you a private link to it. The link contains a secret key: anyone who has it can open the report, so share it only with people you want to see it.
- Availability. We keep paid reports so your link keeps working, until you ask us to delete the report.
Immediate delivery and refunds
The report is digital content delivered immediately after payment. Before checkout, you expressly ask for immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once delivery has begun, as permitted by Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights.
If the report could not be produced for technical reasons — for example the scan failed on our side or the report never unlocked — write to hello@backloo.com with your receipt and we will arrange a full refund through Polar. This does not limit your statutory rights if the report is defective.
What the report is — and isn't
The scan and the report are for information only. They reflect your site at the moment of the scan, using automated checks and third-party data that can be incomplete. The AI-written parts can contain mistakes or miss context. We do not guarantee any ranking, traffic, performance score or business result, and the report is not a security certification, penetration test or legal advice. Check important changes before you rely on them.
Once you have the report, you may use it freely for your own website — act on it, share it with your team or hand it to a developer.
Our liability
The free tools are provided as they are. For the paid report, our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid for it.
These limits do not apply where the law does not allow liability to be limited — for example for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for harm to life or health, or for consumer rights that cannot be waived.
Your rights as a consumer
If you buy as a consumer, nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law. If you have a complaint, write to hello@backloo.com first — we reply within a few working days.
If we can't resolve it together, you can turn to your national consumer authority or an out-of-court (ADR) body — in Slovakia the Slovak Trade Inspection (SOI), in the Czech Republic the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI). The EU's online dispute resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued in July 2025.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the operator is registered (see Who we are). If you are a consumer living in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in its courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version. A purchase is governed by the version in force when you made it.
