000 — MOBILE APPS
Mobile apps for iOS and Android, from MVP to store polish.
We build iOS and Android apps for startups and companies that need a real product in the stores, not a wrapped website. React Native with Expo for one codebase, or native Swift and Kotlin when the app needs it. Projects start from €14,900; a first store release typically takes eight to fourteen weeks.
001 — Sound familiar?
Building the app is half the job.
- The prototype works on your phone and crashes on your co-founder's older Android.
- App Store review rejected the build twice, and the feedback reads like a riddle.
- Users open the app on the train, lose signal, and lose their work.
- Push notifications arrive late, twice, or not at all — and only on one platform.
- Every release is a manual, half-day ritual that only one person knows how to perform.
- You have no idea where users drop off or which crash hits them most.
002 — What's included
What we build and ship
A store-ready app is product, engineering and release management in one. We cover the whole path, including the backend it talks to.
Cross-platform or native
React Native with Expo when one codebase for iOS and Android makes sense — which is most of the time. Native Swift and Kotlin when you need deep platform APIs, heavy graphics or a platform-specific feel. We recommend, with reasons, before we start.
Offline-first data
Local storage, a sync strategy and conflict handling designed up front, so the app works on a train, in a basement or on a flaky warehouse Wi-Fi.
Push notifications
APNs and Firebase Cloud Messaging wired properly: permission prompts at the right moment, deep links that land on the right screen, and notification preferences users can control.
Auth, payments and subscriptions
Sign in with Apple and Google, secure token storage, in-app purchases or subscriptions that follow store rules, and server-side receipt validation.
Accessibility
Dynamic type, screen reader labels, contrast and touch target sizes, tested with VoiceOver and TalkBack. We follow WCAG 2.2 AA principles adapted to mobile.
App Store and Google Play release
Store listings, privacy labels, review guidelines, TestFlight and internal testing tracks, staged rollouts. We handle the submission and the back-and-forth with review.
Backend and API
Most apps need one. We build it, or connect to yours — see backend systems.
Who we build apps for
- Startups taking an MVP to the stores and to their first thousand users.
- Companies adding a mobile app to an existing web product or service.
- Field and operations teams that need an app that works offline and syncs reliably.
- Founders with an AI-built or freelancer-built app that cannot pass store review or keeps crashing.
003 — How it works
From idea to the stores
Discovery and technical choice
Core user journeys, must-have features for version one, and the cross-platform-or-native decision with written reasons. You get a fixed quote.
Week 1–2
Clickable prototype
The main flows designed and tested on a real device before we write production code. Cheap to change now, expensive later.
Week 2–4
Build in sprints
2-week sprints with a TestFlight or internal-track build at the end of every one. You hold the app in your hand every two weeks.
Week 4–12
Store release
Store assets, privacy labels, review submission and a staged rollout. Crash reporting and analytics live from the first public build.
Week 12–14
Iterate
Fix what users actually hit, ship over-the-air updates where store rules allow, and plan version two from real data.

The starting price covers a focused first version on both platforms. Feature count, offline needs, integrations and native work move the number — and we tell you which ones before you commit.

Tests on critical paths
Login, purchase and the core action are covered by automated tests, plus end-to-end runs on real device profiles.
Automated builds and releases
CI builds, signs and distributes test builds. A release is a reviewed pull request, not a half-day ritual.
Crash reporting and analytics
Crashes, slow screens and funnel drop-offs visible from the first public build, with personal data kept out of the logs.
Accessibility
VoiceOver and TalkBack pass on key flows, dynamic type supported, contrast and touch targets checked.
Security review
Tokens in secure storage, no secrets in the bundle, certificate and API access reviewed before release.
Docs, ADRs and runbooks
Every non-obvious decision gets a short architecture decision record. Every operational task — deploy, rollback, restore, rotate a secret — gets a runbook someone else can follow at 3 a.m.

007 — Questions buyers ask
Questions buyers ask
How much does a mobile app cost?
A focused first version on iOS and Android starts from €14,900. The final price depends on features, offline needs, integrations and whether any part must be native. It is fixed in writing after discovery, before we build.
How long until we are in the stores?
A typical first release takes eight to fourteen weeks, including store review. You get a test build on your phone every two weeks, so there is no big reveal at the end — you have been using it all along.
React Native or native?
For most business apps, React Native with Expo: one codebase, faster delivery, native performance for typical UI. We go native in Swift or Kotlin for heavy graphics, deep hardware access or when the app must feel exactly like the platform. We put the reasons in writing before you decide.
Who owns the app and the store listing?
You do. The app is published from your own Apple and Google developer accounts, the code is in your GitHub, and full IP transfers on payment. We never publish your app under our account.
What happens after launch?
Code we shipped carries a 30-day warranty. After that, Apple and Google change their OS and store rules every year, so most apps need care: SDK updates, policy changes and crash fixes. Our care plans start from €490 per month — or your team takes over with our handover pack.
Can you take over an app someone else built?
Yes. We start with an audit of the code, build setup and store status, then tell you honestly whether to fix, partially rebuild or rebuild. If the app was AI-built, that is our rescue service.
How do we communicate?
Directly with the engineer building your app, in English, Slovak or Czech, on CET working hours. Weekly written update, a test build every sprint, replies within one business day. We sign an NDA before we start, and a DPA if user data is involved.
